BODMAS

Today my mama told me that BODMAS means Brackets of division , mulitplication, Additin and Substraction.

This is because Uncle Kwong Fook, who always come to our house on the weekend to eat our food, was teaching me maths.

The first sum was (7-6) x (3+4) x (2+3)

My mother did not believe that I can do it. She said the first time is an accident.
So he gave me another sum.
(8+2) x (3+4) + (1+6)

I also got it correct and she said it was a coincidence

So he gave me the thrid math.
((1+6) x (8-3))+(10-7)

This time when I got it correct she said it is an incident. So happy.

Cleopatra The Queen of Egypt

Ariel: Cleopatra was the Queen of Egypt.She is beautiful.
Atticus : She died in the end.


Atticus : Julius Caesar -- He was the Emperior of Rome. He was a soldier.He took over many cities and land.



Ariel : Cleopatra and her son were going to see Julius Caesar.






Atticus: Mark Anthony also wanted to take over the world.But all his soliders died.And he heard horses travelling near full of bad guys so he went and took his horse and ran to the bad guy. He took out his sword and went and told the bad guy to fight but they did not. So he went to Egypt and look for Cleopatra.





Ariel : Mark Anthony fall in love with Cleopatra.He was a bad man.

Cheese Cake

Dear Aunty Doris,

We are eating your cheese cake now with our neighbour. She is the the one we gave our easter eggs to last week. This is a photography of her with us in her house.



Ariel said the cheese cake is very nice.

Atticus said that the bottom of the chees cake seems not nice but actually it taste quite good.

Oh no we ate the cheese cake before lunch so my mother will make sure that we eat lunch.

Oh no. My big brother Angus said it is very good. And he ate our share.

We hope to make the cheese cake ourselves soon.

My neighbour said that Angus cannot eat the cheese cake as it will make his hair more curly.





My brother asked what is wrong with curly hair.

She said that it is the wrong era to have curly hair. He should be living in the 1960's like Elvis. Now my neighbour is trying to comb away his curls.

Easter in the Esshold

Last week we made easter eggs.We gave it to our neighbour. Our neighbour eat it. they like it very much but 3rd sister ate my egg.


The first easter eggs that we have ever made.













This is the first time that we made easter eggs.




This is how we made the easter eggs:

1.Carefully break a hole through the top of the egg so that
the egg white and egg yoke can come out.

2.Then wash the egg shell.

3.Then we made the aga aga.

4.Pour 1 litre of water into the pot. Mix the aga aga and sugar.

5.Boil the aga aga and add colour!

6.Put the cocktail in the eggshell.

7.Put the aga aga in the eggshell!.

We have a Easter Branch where our grandma, Uncle Kevin, Aunty Zu and Uncle Kwong Fock came and eat with us.



Hopefully next year we will be able to make better easter eggs like the one in the picture.

Marcus's Birthday Party

Last Saturday,we had a birthday party. It was Marcus's birthday.He is one of my friend. He is nine years old now.








Daddy was cutting the cake for Marcus and Johnaton and Ariel and Atticus.




We were all drinking sparkling juice.We had fun but Ariel and Marcus tasted the wine!!! first so I got the right to taste the wine. he he he haha

Discovery Channel A History of Singapore

On Good Friday,I watch a DVD called "A History of Singapore." I also watched the movie with my mummy and daddy and my sister named Ariel.

And the movie also had three parts. The second part was about the Japanese fighting the Singaporean and killing everyone. While we were watching it, I asked my mother how was it that Lee Kwan Yew managed to escape from the Japanese? Also my mother's grandfather (Taikong) also managed to escape.

The Japanese also dropped bombs from the airplane onto Singapore. The Japanese might have wanted to conquer the Singaporean and therefore they dropped bombs.


In another DVD called the Raid, the Japanese caught the American and the other Americans have to try to save them. But along the way,they found Filippinos (where my girlfriend lived) and when the Americians found the Filippinos,some of them died.But my girlfriend was in Australia :)





I saw this man inside the DVD. His name is Standford Raffles. He was the founder of Singapore. He also planned the town of Singapore and today he is dead.

I was on the statue of Raffles because my mother was taking a picture of me.
In front of the Victoria Hall, there is a statue of Raffles but he is painted black. So there are two statues that I saw that day.

So there must be two statues of Raffles;one in Victoria Hall and one near the Singapore River.

Singapore is a trading port where people come to buy and sell and work to get money.

And it is 2 months before we will go to Penang with my grandmother.

Field trip with mama

Ar The Chinese Heritage Centre











One day during the March holiday, my mother brought my sister Ariel and me to a field trip. We went with her students.

















We first visited a shop house which shows how the Chinese lived.











My sisteer Ariel was pretending to eat food upstairs in the building in Chinatown.













At the URA










At URA, we saw a model of Singapore. Here is Ariel. She nearly pushed down three buildings but small ones becasue she cannot push down so big buildings.

I also saw a spider very near but it was going all around the model. O boy, I wish I was sometime like spide going all around Singapore.













I was looking around the model. Suddenly I put my finger near the road but I wasn't touching it because it said :"No touching." So when I was putting my finger near it, I just used my finger to follow all the roads.



































We were very tired. So we rested inside the bird cage. And my mother's students named Eugene was with me. And everytime I lose him I called out "Eugene where are you?" because I always lose him.
